MOTHERS AND TODDLERS ZUMBA AND GAMES
We are trying a new venture. Ladies, you know what it's like fitting in any exercise when you have a toddler in the house, (or maybe you think you get enough just keeping them out of mischief). Well, we have a Mothers and toddlers zumba and games morning in the Community Resource Centre where the mothers get time to do a little exercise while the children play safely.
Initially it will run until Monday 14th May 2012 from 11.15am - 12.00 noon. Further dates will be published here on the blog and on our Facebook page so keep checking.
Everyone will be most welcome and just think of the fun you could have!

Dromboughil Charity Coffee morning and Easter Bonnet Contest
Saturday 31st March 2012 we held our coffee morning to raise funds for Ovarian Cancer (The Eve Appeal) and it was a brilliant success with amazing support from the local community and those further afield and over £800 was raised for the charity. Thank you all who supported us in this venture.
Our guest and judge for the Easter Bonnet Competition was Joe Mahon, of Lesser Spotted Ulster fame. The hats were magnificent as shown by the following photos!
Siobhan's hat
The mystery banker. Cecil Ross was hiding behind the mask (and getting very warm!)
This hat won a prize later when the judging was done
Eileen's hat
Two sisters
Rose's cupcake hat won her a prize as well - for very good reason!
Lots of chicks on this hat
Valerie's hat
There were all sorts of designs
Ruth had a daffodil hat
Mary came in the style that matched her hat
The many uses of a flower pot
My 'creation' - just to be different
They're not ignoring me. Just letting me see the back of their hats
Three generation. The eldest and youngest both won prizes for their hats!
Here is the ultimate Easter Bonnet
The back view
A big flower!
Valerie and Joe with the children and their winning hats
Mary and a winning raffle prize
Alice and the basket her husband won in the raffle
Dancers on this hat
The three of us in our creations
The attendance was brilliant!
Danny O'Kane came along to take some pictures
Enjoying their morning out
Three generations together
The winners of the raffle were:
1st prize Carol Hunter
2nd prize Brian O'Kane
3rd prize Roseleen Biggs
4th prize Helen McCormick
Congratulation to the winners and once again thank you again to all who supported us so well.
